This one-day conference will focus on best practices to help educators increase their high school’s college-going rate. The best practices incorporate the four steps of KnowHow2GO. Symposium highlights include:
- College access issues presented by:
- Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman
- Nebraska Commissioner of Education Roger Breed
- EducationQuest President Liz S. Koop
- University of Nebraska President James B. Milliken
- Clyde Malone Community Center Executive Director T.J. McDowell
- Breakout sessions with best practices high schools can implement to increase the number of students who go to college.
- Details about the EducationQuest College Access Grants program and how high schools could qualify for funding.
