College Access Symposium

This one-day conference will focus on best practices to help educators increase their high school’s college-going rate. The best practices incorporate the four steps of KnowHow2GO. Symposium highlights include:

  • College access issues presented by:
    • Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman
    • Nebraska Commissioner of Education Roger Breed
    • EducationQuest President Liz S. Koop
    • University of Nebraska President James B. Milliken
    • Clyde Malone Community Center Executive Director T.J. McDowell
  • Breakout sessions with best practices high schools can implement to increase the number of students who go to college.
  • Details about the EducationQuest College Access Grants program and how high schools could qualify for funding.
High school educators are invited to register for the College Access Symposium by March 11.
