Q:How do I download an event reminder to my e-mail calendar?
A: Outlook Users – Select the name of the event (or the Download event to my calendar link). You will receive a message asking if you wish to Open, Save or Cancel. Select Open. This will open the item as an event in Outlook. Select Save and Close to add the event to your calendar. Alternatively, you may select Save from the initial message to save the event file to your computer desktop. You can then open it later to add to your calendar.
Lotus Notes Users –
Option 1 - Select the name of the event (or the Download event to my calendar link). You will receive a message asking if you wish to Open, Save or Cancel. Select Save. Once saved, simply drag the event file and drop it anywhere on your Notes calendar. A message will then appear on the Notes status bar: "Notes created for iCalendar Conversion has been placed in your Inbox". Open your Inbox to view the calendar invitation. Open the invitation and select the Add to Calendar button.
Option 2 - You can also right click the attachment, or use the properties box, and choose View or Open. A dialog box will appear allowing you to import the event. Select Import and the calendar invitation will appear in your Inbox. Open the invitation and select the Add to Calendar button.
Q:When I select Guided Tours, Activities Resume, Estimator, Calculators, College Profiles and ScholarshipQuest, nothing appears on my screen. Why?
A: These programs open in separate windows. If you have a pop-up stopper program running on your computer, disable it or follow the manufacturer's directions for bypassing the function.
Q: I'm using Internet Explorer 5.0 with the Activities Resume. The changes I've made to my resume do not appear on Print Preview. Why?
A: Your browser cache settings need to be updated. Open Internet Explorer and select Tools from the menu and Internet Options. On the General tab, select Settings under the Temporary Internet files area. Select Every Visit To The Page from the options listed in the new window. Select OK and OK again to close the windows.
Q: I'm using Windows 95, 98 or Me with the Budget Calculator. When I select Submit I do not see a report. Why?
A: If you are using Internet Explorer and this is your first visit to this program, you will need an additional file to view the results page. Please download and install this file before proceeding.
